Thallus off-white, thin, smooth, dull. Ascomata black, conspicuous, numerous, semi-immersed, curved or sinuous, often branched, 1–4 (–5) mm long, 0.15–0.30 mm wide, with a conspicuous white thalline margin; lips closed. Proper exciple completely carbonised. Hymenium 100–120 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, transversely 8–10 (–11)-locular, 28–37 (–40) × 6–8 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: Stictic acid. |

An inconspicuous, corticolous species in eastern Qld and north-eastern N.S.W.; also on Christmas Island (Indian Ocean). | ||
